Today I took a walk through downtown Boston to check out the scene from yesterday’s attacks on the Boston Marathon. All day, the city was eerily quiet, and people were going about their day but you could tell it was still on everyone’s mind.

As I walked down the streets, I saw what felt like the entire world wide media filling up the sidewalks with their trucks and equipment. News reporters from Australia, Europe and Asia all came to town to report live from the scene. It was all so surreal. Especially seeing the army and other huge tanks all over the Boston Common. Once I got to the marathon site (or as close as I could to it) I noticed that people were gathering and creating a memorial with flowers and other tokens of appreciation and love. Hopefully we will know more news tomorrow.
